Heather has 30 years of experience in office management across both government services and the private sector. She has attained a Certificate IV Workplace Assessment – Box Hill Institute, Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment – Swinburne University of Technology, Certificate IV Computer Technology – East Gippsland TAFE and a Cert III Desktop Publishing and Graphic Design – Kangan Institute.

Moving to Melbourne, from East Gippsland in 2010, she accepted a role with UnitingCare Sunshine Mission (now Uniting) facilitating the Communal Justice Project which provided pre and post release support to over 600 people exiting prison and integrating into communities across Victoria. This project was discontinued in 2018.

Commencing with the Presbytery of Port Phillip West in 2018 as the Secretary/Administrator Heathers’ work focuses on administration, finance, and property. I work to equip and resource Presbytery in Council, Standing Committee and the Administration, Property and Finance Committee. Other key tasks include liaising with Synod Property Services on property maintenance, Project Control Groups (PCG’s), Occupational Health and Safety, Synod and Presbytery grants, and representing the Presbytery in the Money for Mission Program.

Presbytery Minister​

Narelle was ordained in 2011 and served as a congregational minister at Carramar Uniting Church in the northern suburbs of Perth.  Narelle worked as part of the Education Team of the Presbytery of WA before taking up the position of Presbytery Minister of Port Phillip West. 
In the role of Presbytery Minister Narelle is responsible for the care and support of congregations and ministers within the Presbytery with a special focus on those ministers in Phase 3 i.e. in their first three years of ministry.  The role includes equipping and resourcing the Pastoral Relations and Ministry Formation Committees of the Presbytery and conducting consultations with ministry contexts.  She is the PPW rep on the Synod Placements Committee and has a passion for pioneer/ innovative new ministries, discipleship and mission training and pastoral care.

Rev. Linley Liersch

After Ministry Internship Linley was Ordained 10 years ago as Minister of the Word in the UCA.  She has spent the whole of her vocation in resource ministry. 
Her exit placement in Seymour – Avenel/Nagambie.  As part of the Presbytery of North Eastern Victoria- Presbytery Mission and Education, she initiated the Veranda Theology project that reclaimed mission starts at our front door step. 
Over 8 years in Horsham and District in a team ministry with oversight of 11 congregations. 
Linley coached the lay leaders in the local area through continuing education and even theology studies through a learning Hub based locally. 
As the Chair of Mission and Education Committee for Presbytery of Western Victoria, she co-ordinated a Rural Ministry Conference and served on Standing Committee. 
Now PPW Mission Development Strategist & eLM liaison for PPW she notes both mission and education are the heart of her ministry.
